The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in a strong collaboration with the consortium of the Enterpise Europe Network - Luxembourg and the Ministry of the Greater Region of the Grand-Duchy will organise on the 21st and 24th of next September, a cross-border economic mission within the EUREGIO - MeuseRhin, with the presence of Ms. Corinne Cahen, Minister of the Greater Region.
The EUREGIO has a population of nearly 4 million individuals, characterised by a real cultural diversity. With an average knowledge of 3 languages (french, german and dutch), five main cities are within the EUREGIO: Liège, Hasselt, Maastricht, Heerlen and Aix-la-Chapelle.
Multisectoral in nature, special emphasis will be placed on new technologies and digital services, eco-innovation, R&D, circular economy, automotive, transport and logistics as well as creative industries. Alongside economic webinars aimed at promoting the economic strengths of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Greater Region and the different host regions, the proposed program will include, among other things, b2b meetings with companies from the regions concerned and virtual tours of technological campuses and science parks.
The program of this first cross-border economic mission organized entirely in virtual format will be enhanced by the participation of H.E.Mrs Corinne Cahen, Minister of the Greater Region of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The 3rd day of this virtual economic mission (September 23, 2020) will be dedicated to the Dutch Province of Limburg.
